Pati Yang - Si

I'm personally not so taken with her later poppier/dancier stuff, but I'm really digging her earlier material, even if I don't understand any of the songs that're in Polish.

Pendulum-Tarantula

I love the reggae lyrics combined with the rhythm and beat of the drum n' bass. The lyrics make it pretty distinctive too, as opposed to an instrumental version of the song.

Double post? Double post. bumping for da musiks.

Anberlin - Miserabile Visu

Pretty cool progressive rock song with a story behind it, similar to Bohemian Rhapsody and songs of that caliber. The band is cool, reminds me of Muse.

This techno track is a bit repetitive, but still awesome.

Astronautalis- The River, The Woods

A rap artist I'm quite fond of. (No profanity, for those worried.)

If this is dubstep, I think I like it...

... incidentally, yes, I first ran into that on saltybet. Just in case someone was thinking it.
The drop is quite fitting for the cover picture. Mirai Nikki...

I made a Pandora radio station originally centered around music from the Vampire: The Masquerade video games that soon spread out from there across multiple bands and similar genres. Licks and licksticks are welcome to check out Masquerade 102.5 It's mostly metal but there's some electronica, goth, dark pop and trip-hop in there at various points too.

Remember that short discussion we had in the happy thread over the Nightwish Live DVD trailer?  And the main part was a face-melting vocal sample?

That sample was from Ghost Love Score, and here's an excellent quality live show recording of the whole song.  Different performance from the one in the trailer, but just as good.

Hope Eyrie - A filk song about the moon landing, and still the single most inspirational song I have ever heard. Time won't drive us down to dust again.

There's quite a few very good filk songs about the space age. I've been listening to... well, most of this album on repeat for hours now, and there's this acute, aching longing built up inside.

I want humanity to reach the stars. I want that so much.
