I enjoyed dubstep until Skream and Skrillex got cool. Then when Bieber announced he wanted to do some dubstep, I knew the genre was dying.
Ephixa is great, Mt. Eden isn't so much, Cookie Monsta's great.

Wonky/Aquacrunk is the way of the future, ein, check out Rustie or Hudmo for example. :P

In the meantime, here's one of my favourite songs from late childhood.

Nostalgia for me, too, bro~
Friend of mine was listening to them the other day~

It seems the main issue with most mainstream dubstep is that it's not really dubstep anymore, just wubstep~
Sometimes even the step is eschewed~
Somewhat related~

Look what I just found on the wiki~~

Brostep is definitely like "wubstep" as you call it. I sort of gave Skrillex and Skream their own subgenres in my mind; "Skrubstep", which brought to mind the slang 'scrub'.
From Urban Dictionary:
A loser with nothing to offer a woman.
Hehe, Skrillex and Skream.

Funfact: Dubstep's rhythm evolved from 'Dub', a subgenre of REGGAE. Dub sounds like reggae, but with dubstep like beats and timing.

I'll just leave this here. Darn thing got stuck in my head but it has an undeniably earwormy quality to it.
Mark Ronson and the Business International - Bang Bang Bang

Another thing, ein, how come you end your sentences with tildes~
Is it an idiosyncracy or what~
Oh god now i'm infected~

Idiosyncrasy because full stops are cold and emotionless~
Needless to say, it greatly bothers some people for gods know what reason~

Love this album~

Full stops cold and emotionless... I like that. While I don't think I'll use tildes, I might use interrobangs and similar from now on when i'm feeling exceptionally eccentric.

or even eschew full stops and capitalisation altogether

certainly a highly idiosyncratic method of typing, but one that is strangely alluring
