There's no hard time limit, but your characters can age and die, and the government can become more and more conservative, until you lose due to Reaganification. Reaganification doesn't depend on Congress or the laws; it depends on public opinion.

If prisons are C+, liberals in prison will also slowly defect due to brainwashing.

However, even with aging, if you have younger characters with high juice, they'll just inherit. Theoretically, the game can be endless. In fact, if your game lasts beyond 2100, and you continue the game at that point, you can fight with laser swords and hover cars and plasma guns and stuff. But any proper liberal character in that age will use the Twin Swords of Liberalism, Justice Sword and Retribution Blade.

Yeah, it's true. It's just an easter egg re-naming of a lot of things in game, though, the mechanics play the same.
