This line keeps coming up a lot around here.
To open up chest you need to cut or pinch the body enough to break skin and reveal the organs then pinch any organ until flies out. through you might need a really fast adventurer to prevent the opponent from dying then have a adventurer reaction that convert organ into a food so you can feast on it. Though pinching heads off in this game is not possible as bronzes unless I'm doing it wrong.

Thanks to this thread, I was able to grab a guy's sword, snag it from him, implant it into his eye socket, then choke him from behind until he died from blood loss due to the afformentioned new hole in his head (and a little help from a seemingly missing [ARTERIES] tag in the brain.

And if Fox News discovered this game, there would be 10k downloads tommorow.  Seriously.  That's why Fox News won't discover it.  They only report negatively about things they want to hype.

Why else would that Saudi guy give them all that money and be labeled a terrorist?

You have to grab the weapon, shield, armor, etc with a free hand, which means that it needs to not be holding anything. So if you want to disarm something you'll have to drop your shield or weapon to free up a hand. It doesn't work with upper arms or anything.

The one thing I don't get though is this option to "Grab with iron longsword" or "Grab with bronze shield". It seems like when you try to do this it will say something like "You grab the x's upper arm with the iron shield!" but then when you go back to the wrestling menu the shield isn't "connected" to anything. So it seems like even if there's an option to do it, "grabbing" something with an item doesn't work.

Make it works with some items like ropes? Like "grab throat with rope"?

I believe the grab with weapon options were left over from 40d. You could strangle people with anything, back then.

1: It doesn't have anything even remotely sexual for them to get their panties in a twist about.

2: They wouldn't be able to figure out how to play it, let alone that it even has the options for the goriest combat this side of the Roman Colloseum.

3: There are no good gorey PICTURES of the bloody slaughter for them to shock and awe viewers with. ANSII and text don't do much for shock content, which is what Fox gets ratings on.

Honestly, I would be a lot more worried about them reading some of the forum posts than trying and failing to play the game.

This game is so awesome, when some relatives with small children come to visit (english is not they're thing), no one could even imagine that i'm biting hands off and tearing throats with forks. Its the same reaction i first got when i turned Dwarf Fortress on. "Has my pc broke?"

You know what bugs me to no end about the throwing move? It doesn't really "throw", it just makes the enemy fall. I imagine my extremely muscular dwarf throwing elves and stomping them in walls, and all I get is that.

EDIT: okey, I have tested the arena for the first time, assumed control of a bronze colossus, and used the throw against some caveman. Jesus Christ, he EXPLODED against a wall. I take my words back. It's also as good as a time as any other to mention that I'm extremely new to the game.
