You lack the proper clearance for either of those. Or anything else, for that matter, you'd been living via 'Aggresive Negotiations'. So far its has gotten you barely enough, and also the occasional punch to the head/body/groin when you failed. Usually not in that order of punch, though.

You use the stolen wallet's id to get to the suburb ruins, only to find them in the process of being eaten to make room for some kind of alien monstrosity which is either a building or a massive turret. As usual, luck seems to be actively against you, except for the wallet thing.

Alright. Find nearest abandoned building in home area. Make sort of base out of it. Find recruits.

You find a swiss cheese-like house near the nomzone, and a less holey, but not really any less likely to collapse house farther off. Hmm..

You find a territorial mutant nearby, chomping on what looks like a dead looter. Perhaps this house is not the best choice, but theres not really anywhere else to go, really. All the surviving houses are as broken down and collapsable as the rest here.

You wake up in a roomful of people missing their right pinkie. They aren't dead, so at least its not what you thought would happen.
