In that case, Rafotto and I will search the heart of the city for our contact.

have my stuff identified.
[5] You go pester Taric about what you have in your inventory and he easily identifies them as a pile of old cell phones. Duh!
cell phones x4 added to inventory!

Sell the headset.
[1] You raise it up to scream the price for it, only to have it snatched away by a passing thief.[6] You react quickly and snatch it back, the thief running away afterwards.

I suggest to Rafotto we try to find the person who hired us.
Agreed, I let Dracaena take the lead.
[3] Dracaena starts to go deeper in the city, further away from the market and towards the buildings, a weird mix of floating towers, pits, or hovels from the dreamland and then tell-tale square high rises of human architecture. The trains speed past on their on little islands surrounded by canal waters and bridges, cutting straight through the city.[6] Rafotto follows close behind, looking around for the employer, silently creeping into the minds of others to see if they are waiting for a group of mercenaries, getting a vague impression that this job would be in the seedier parts of the city.

Follow the main to the docks, and watch for any threats
[4] You watch the merchant walk about fifteen feet ahead of you, slowly meandering through the crowd behind you, as not to arouse the suspicion of a thief or assailant.[5] no threats are visible, for now.

Spoiler: Taric (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Mean ol sonafabitch (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Rafotto (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Dracaena (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Akino (click to show/hide)

Background Roll:[1] You are to damn busy to notice anything.

Get the hell out of there!
[5] You succeed in getting away from the dweller.

Fix the cell phones. If not possible, break them down for components

Lead Rafotto to the slums; keep an eye out for anything of interest such as merchants, mobs, unconsidered trifles, etc.

Two problems with that: A. They aren't broke, just dated. B. They are not yours.

I don't think Dari would mind me taking half then.

Take two cell phones. Try and sell the headset again, asking akino to watch out for thieves.

Okay, but I want payback later.

Use one of the cell phones as a weapon.
You may call me Jesus now.
