First look at the gameplay from Sabotage Times. Some guy who's never even played the game before managed to clobber an enemy base single-handed with demolition charges and the Drill Gun.

This is going to suck giant wet donkey balls, isn't it?

I think Toady's confusing interface better simulates the experience of a bunch of disorganised drunken dwarves running a fort.

Looks like it's gone. So much for leaving the beta version playable, eh?

Really, even without Jagex this game was slowly becoming terrible. The kind of community it attracted once it got popular was horrible, the developer would of catered to what they wanted anyways.

Jagex, fuck you. You ruin everything you touch, and if it was already ruined you toss it into a septic tank.

So, looking through that twitter they seem to have added a "commando" class.
I reckon it's going to be pretty much TF2's spy.

EDIT: Whoops, wrong on that one. It's actually their new special OP class that destroys everything and can apparently take headshots from the rifle and live?

Jagex evidently know how to run a game, after all; if you look at Runescape it's infested with bots and they're not gonna do a thing about it because the bots comprise about 50% of their paying members.

Bots are good for testing server load, ArenaNet did it and the Path of Exile devs are doing it right now.

But your game gets past that point eventually if you have enough people. Runescape apparently never did, but Jagex ain't testing anything with them except their patience, maybe? :P

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Considering buying the game over steam, have played some earlier versions and liked it.

But what's all this screaming about Pay To Win?
As far as i can tell the game is sold for 8 euros, after that, do i then have to pay more to get weapons and such?

You all seem very mad at the game, but for the life of me, i can't figure out why.

That's because it's a good game that we feel was ruiend by poor design choices and balancing issues.

May I point out that all of the discusion prior to today was before the game was released? How can you know it was "ruined by poor design choices and balancing issues" when you haven't played the new version yet? Is it so wrong for them to actually want to make money on the game?

unless somebody who actually played the game comes forward and tells me it sucks, i'm gonna take one for the team and buy it... who knows? it might be good.

The graphics certainly looks great.

Part of it is Jagex.
Part of it is killing the original version.
The rest of the rage is just general.

Well played!
You tried the "TV-tropes distraction", but it only worked for 30 minutes!
Now i'm back and ready for... uhm... what were we talking about again?

EDIT: Bought it, will report back.
