I came up with a nice game. Annoy the **** out of a griefer. I made rhymes about his Mom, his skill, and shot him. I also think that he now hates the Bay 12 Forum now. :P

Just played a game where Blue has a giant, blue fortress set up, and was in the process of building a giant bridge across the map.  I kept sneaking into the green base and shooting all their builders, though I'm still not quite sure what they were building...

This game is fun.

Sorry for the double post but does anyone else use crenellation for anything else but decorations? I can't seem to find a good use for it as it blocks the view.

Eh. they are really iffy. I would say, with the new sights, they might be worth the view blocking.

Crenelated walls leave one far too exposed and were invented when weapons have much shorter ranges. You basically want to  expose only your weapons and eyes, and only to a very small area.

Actually Thobal, if you employ the same technique currently used for firing from windows when firing from crenelations (grazing fire, not frontal fire) it works quite well. Most people assume you stand between the cren... nels. Big square things, framed in the open space. That is entirely wrong. You shoot from one edge of cover down the length of the wall, not perpendicular to it. So make your crenelations two or three blocks long and they work fine.

My preferred tactic is to dig a network of foxholes and sniper nests near the enemy base and wait for them to find them, cue the entire x team leaping in to them to find the sniper, at which point I make a hole in their spawn area and have a merry time mass muredering them
