I have perfected the camoflague fighting position. I can easily run out of ammunition shooting from my little spider-holes, and I really wonder why we're limited to fifty bullets. I also made an extensive post for a three-class system on the forum. I freaking want the machine gun I proposed. I will head a mod team if I have to.

Machine guns would be seriously OP. I get why people would want them and stuff, but still OP.

I usually just see if the server won't kick you for firing off rounds in a world run by minecraft players who can't deal with something broken in a game where any weapon you use destroys it causes some massive drama. oh and I really really wish for either more water blocks and a chance of swimming or a space map where you got two ships that are suspended on a set of 3x3x3 floating blocks connected to the ship destroy all and the whole ship falls killing every one who was on it. giving the other team a huge advantage in defending the intel usually this would lead to a win and the admin should reset the map after one of the ships is completely destroyed.

Good luck. The favorite activity of AoS admins is to not admin their servers.

Yea I tried this game again for a bit, thinking the game might be better by now.   Actually had a good game going, some pretty good defenses around the intel and the medic tent and the game was going back and forth among the folks that were actually defending and attacking.

Then some douchbag came and griefed everything taller than 2 tiles.  He actually ran out of stuff to destroy because nobody was votekicking him despite 3 or 4 people spamming chat telling folks to.    I would rather all blocks placed by somebody only be removable by the enemy or the player that placed them at this point.  That is a stupid and absurd solution, but it's better than watching somebody from your own team run around with a shovel and destroy meaningful defensive shit faster than you can build supports.

And then there's all the damn meta.  Like folks who run around just spelling out words or making stupid little things that look like fake flags or bases from the map.  Animate the real flag box,  just a make it flash 2 shades of blue or green on the map, all it takes to stop most of that shit.

Once the dev does something about that stuff instead of replacing old but good gun models and updating ironsight images that all the 'serious' players just replace with a circle and full transparency anyway, I'll play it again.

So much potential in this game, yet it has this whole Derek Smart way of ignoring the issues that keep the game from being good, and in some cases playable.

I don't think that the making of fake intels is meta or stupid, or should be stopped. Sure, it's unrealistic to make a box out of bright blue or green blocks to make a fake intel, but it's a strategy, one of the few that is... well... covert, I guess you could say, or not combat-related. It's a nice challenge when you have to find the right intel, for me.

Got told to go back to Call of duty for asking what's the difference between destroying blocks and griefing and the means of getting angry over a.
some how to me Griefing can't be all about destroying blocks could it? if it is then I should be able to flip over to the enemy teams see where every one is then flip back tell my team all the enemy hide outs with out getting kicked or banned. unless it's easier to get someone to emote when you kick down their block castle than it is to tunnel through your intel to the enemy's tent. oh well now I know the two factions that fight over this game the CoD and the MC players.

I had fun earlier, I still suck at actually shooting, ("Arrgh stupid mouse!!") as well as moving, ("What the--Freaking keyboard!!") and pretty much everything else, but I just like building stuff, and trying frantically to defend it! :P
Also, I made a basement beneath my bunker and built a cat. Bridges are fun to build, too. :)
