Personally I'm appalled at the lack of imagination and social insecurity in the worst offenders, I really don't need to hear nor see their Submissive play fantasies or sexual preferences rendered in artful cyan and hot pink, nor do I care much for the Prewar Finnish Airforce. Frankly was it up to me, I'd have trolls ground into sausage and then have the sausage fed to elephants.*
*people who are just being drunk online will be fed straight to the elephants.

It's a good thing Elephants don't eat sausage, (unlike most of these phallic obsessed little twits) but I digress frivilously.

Wouldn't keeping everything server side increase latency between the client and the server? And subsequently increase server strain?

Also: Should I draw anymore still lives of Captain Herp Derpum and his brave greens?

No no, because the required information already has to pass through the server.

Unless I'm missing something, when you throw a grenade, your mouse click hits the server and then the server sends the grenade to everyone else. So the server can count that. It also must know where each player is and where the outpost is. So if the counter goes over 4 without hitting the outpost. And the client doesn't have to say "okay, I hit the outpost. Please reset my ammo and brick counters.", since the server know where both of them are it can just infer that information.

Also, if the player's position is sent to the server, it's rate of change can be calculated server-side with no additional information transmitted.

So instead of the client checking user memory and telling the server "I'm throwing a grenade now", the server hears the client say "throw grenade now!" then checks its records to see if the player should have a grenade to throw. There isnt any checking between the server and the client to see if there numbers match up. The server would just win anyways.

It will increase processor overhead and memory-use server side, but because no additional information is being transmitted, it dosnt increase bandwidth usage.

I hope he will make most processing server-side now. It was expected too, with most of servers full of games with HAX :).
