had hackers on my server, after my whole team spent a few hours building up our side of map.

hackers came in and spammed thousands of grenades while flying around and destroyed it all.

The game just doesn't have any protection againt it yet. The stuff is apparently recorded client side, so all it takes is modifying the memory to give yourself unlimited ammo or health or make yourself fly. Any fool with a basic memory hacking program could cheat with little effort. Even something like Cheat Engine would probably work (I haven't tried it, but if it's all client side all it would take is finding the relevant memory for your Z position and for your health/ammo/grenades and just locking them to create the flying thing where you can throw endless grenades/shoot endlessly).

Hopefully it gets patched to at least have the server record the values and compare them in order to catch the hackers, or move the stuff server side.

This is a great game, very raw still but very promising. Thanks for the tip once again, Bay12 Other Games. I've had very little problems connecting to servers, I've played maybe 20 sessions now and never had to keep trying more than a minute. Server crashes seem somewhat frequent though.

The game idea is rock solid and when the game and the community develop a bit, it could become a real gem. Right now most people seem to just run around and build useless stuff or go on solo raids not achieving much. The asymmetric map is a great idea, it gives the sides a surprising amount of character. The Greens in their huge and useless bases and the Blues lost in their endless confusing honeycomb of tunnels..

The hackers and griefers are a problem, but they seldom ruin the feeling for me. I just go somewhere else on the map or change servers if it's unbearable. I never build huge structures anyway so can't really comment on the building destroying type of nuisance. Flying endless grenade Deuces usually seem to get bored quickly anyway. Maybe the worst I saw was someone with endless blocks and some sort of a speedhack apparently. He sprayed the entire map in no time with pink and blue blocks. It was horribly headache-inducing to walk around and the overhead map became all but useless. Oh well, griefers gonna grief I guess. Maybe the admin-kick update will help a bit. Some sort of private servers or the like would be great as well.

Wow I just had the best session so far. Maybe it's because the servers running the new version were not on the front page, but hacking and griefing was at a minimum. Both teams also had very good and organized players. The map had a chain of islands at the river, and the Greens had built a massive fortification system across it. The Blues on the other hand made huge bridges and tunnels that led to positions overlooking the fortifications. There the Blues excavated big bunkers and were able to shoot at the Green fortifications with impunity. Later on there was close quarters fighting in the devastated ruins of the Green fortifications, as the Blues tried to assault the massive Green Intel tower. While this was going on, Green snipers were constantly infiltrating the Blue base and causing all kinds of havoc at the Blue Intel tower. Fun for hours, I'm really impressed.

32 bit COLOR DEPTH, not pixels... Do you plug your HDD in your floppy drive? :P
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/258-color-bit-depth-display-settings.html

P.S. In case you only had Windows 7 and never had previous versions, I may understand why don't you know it.
In Windows 7 they hid it in the adapter settings. It looks like they tried to hide as much customization as possible in this one, so you have to click through dozens of windows to set up everything you want.

In previous versions of Windows it was right next to the screen resolution though, so I don't know how could you miss it.

P.P.S. Guys, you need to read that thread I've linked.

Attempting to start the client results in an immediate crash. Attempting to connect to a server yields:

Error!
Server Connection Failed: it's either full or misconfigured

Attempting to upgrade from .26 to .31 results in Mediafire not letting me download the goddamn file.
