Damn hackers!

Although I did have a lot of fun anyway. Made a wide berth to the north, where I kept meeting the same guy (I killed him 3 times). Then dug in the mountain, hid my tunnel's entrance, and opened a slit on the other side. By sheer coincidence, it was the ennemy's base. So I shot and shot, killing that same guys two more times, and at least 5 others, changing position from time to time, opening new slits...

Then got kicked. I guess they mistook me for one of the hackers, as I was apologizing to that guys I shot 6 times. :p

i was hiding behind a quickly built column of stone i just laid when i ran into an ambush ahead of me of 3 green guys.

I built it in like 2 seconds flat, and they continued firing at me, and hitting me behind the stone.

I died 5 seconds later, and rage quit.

Also this game does not deserve headshots, the aiming sucks so hard its entirely random till you find a hacker or something, and they constantly 1 shot you in the head even when your ducking in and out of new firing holes you dug 20 squares across from each other.

I rage quit about an hour after i started.

One of the fun things i had during my game was tunnel wars, the enemy team dug a giant 3x3 tunnel across the map to our base, I was apparently the first one to find it, Built a giant tower above it to mark its location, then i went down into the enemies tunnel, hid in a little hidey spot i dug in the side of it, then ran up behind anyone running past and shot them in the head (multiple times). fucking hitboxes.

Then i went down the tunnel to their end, and blocked it off, and had hilarity ensue as they tried to dig it out as i was sitting behind it.

I kept lobbing grenades through the holes they made and killing multiple enemies on the other side.

I laughed hard, then promptly got 1 shotted in the head by some guy at the far end of the tunnel again.

Fucking headshots ruin this game.

then when i reload, a spawn camper or something was in our base and instantly rekilled me :(

Why is it, sometimes i can start near the middle of the map at spawn, and at other times, i start at the very edge of the god damn map and have to walk a mile to the middle where anything is happening? Thats also annoying, give us set spawn spots or something please god.

Er, when you're ducking in and out of firing holes, the only part of you that's exposed is your head.

Same goes if you're trying to snipe.

Yes, The head is kinda large and you just suck at aiming. i headshot people 90% of the times i kill someone.
Are you just too used to shitty console shooters where everyone is a tank?

Yea, its not -that- hard to hit someone in the head [but im the server so i dont really.. lag], i just stopped playing after like.. 2 hours. i left the server up at the moment. Don't know when i'm going to take it down. It still has like insane amounts of people attempting to join and then dropping.
I think the largest it got was 6v5 or so... and most of the time it was 4v4.
Right now, that map is a freaken hivecomb of tunnels.
pretty much every obstruction has a tunnel through it, and every location that a intel spawned theres tunnels around it or under it.. and they just go everywhere... I don't even know half, but i could easily travel from our side spawn to their side where the intel was, only seeing the light of day to cross the rivers... which neither side was protecting that much.

I suspect for joining servers ping-time or lost packets matters, i live in Eastren canada [Ontario], so that may have to do with it... maybe only close people can join.

Lag doesn't seem to have much of an effect on headshots though, whenever I headshot someone they died a few moments later, usually... Apart from that little lag fight at the intel we had where neither of us would die.

yeah. Kinda needs to refresh the maps every hour or so because of the extreme tunneling

I love those honeycombs, though, it does seem to leave blue at a disadvantage.

Yea.. i guess.. we could of tried to defend the river though and put a stop to it.
...but the rivers just.. too huge for 4-6 people to defend. especially if a couple are on the offensive.
Maybe if the maps were more.. rectangular it would be easier to defend.
like [=bluespawn ]=greenspawn
[====] shaped. rather then perfect squares

Alternatively if more people could join.. and not just have false-starts.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.
