I can join servers now, but apparently I keep getting kicked out of every server because "check the new version". What new version?

Loadouts is better than a class system.

There should only be one combat class, maybe an HMGer for the WWI feel, but there should be a few noncombat classes.
That would be awesome. I mean, what game has noncombat classes that actually do something besides run around screaming?

Ihad so much fun on my server just building little pillboxes on the other side of the map.  My pillboxes turned the tide of battle once my team found them and started to use them, then the server owner rage quit.  Was good time, ya.

When I run client.exe it appears in the processes tab of the task manager but is removed from the list before any window opens. Am I the only one?

You aren't supposed to run the client.exe.

Any better comprehensive guide for the game?
I really wanna play it but it seems I cannot join even one server and neither do I know how to forward my port

Game is pretty awesome, I got in a server on something like my third try, left to change some options and find a higher populated one, now I cant join anything again. 

I'd host a server myself, if my new router wasn't completely terrible, it likes to completely disable my internet when I change any settings.

Just had a great game. I was going forward, establishing small outposts along the way, when I get in a firefight with 3 blues. I manage to shoot one, but take two body shots. So I dig downward, close the hole over me, then dig in the hillside until I'm overlooking a bridge they built. From my comfortable, camouflaged sniping hole, I manage to shoot a couple blues, when suddenly I see one of them running toward their base, carrying our intel! Since I missed him, I jump out of my hole and manage to get him, but now I'm stuck in an open space, with our intel, just in front of the bridge. I quickly build a small bunker when 4 blues appears over the crest. For a whole minute, I then manage to keep them away, shooting and hiding, until one of them score a lucky shot on my head.

It's alright.  The shit-talking between blue and green is pretty funny.
