Hide and seek... with me lying in a cradle, my parents hiding their eyes with their hands...

Oh wait, you mean video games?

It's Snake I think, on a green monochrome, a gift for being able to complete the assignment first in a GW-Basic programming class in a Caritas youth center. IIRC the first assignment was to draw a diamond.

I was 10 or so... I still don't know why they started that course for kids so young. I remember being the only one who gets to play games after each lesson...

Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

I distinctly remember not knowing how to get from one screen to another.
It took me... 4? 5? ish years to beat it, using up several pounds of batteries in the process (this was the original GameBoy, the grey brick sort).

I think it was either super mario bros: the lost worlds or a pimped version of pong.

The earliest game I can remember is Prince of Persia. I didn't actually play, just watched. But then, I was very very young. I think the first game I actually played myself was Mario. And the first computer game was Comanche. Or Sea Wolf. Memory a bit foggy in that aspect.

The earliest three games I can remember are the original pokemon, Ocarina of Time, and Total Annihilation. I think I played Ocarina first but it's really a toss up.

Pipe dream I think, part of the Microsoft entertainment pack. Unfortunately the thing won't play on this machine, so no nostalgia for me!
There a lot of kiddiwinks on these forums, I thought I was young. :(

Oh yes.  I played the hell out of that when we got Windows 3.1.  Man, I remember going to this local PC store and the dude showing off how "awesome" Windows 95 was about that time...

Pipe dream, Jezzball, Taipei, and of course CHIP'S CHALLENGE were the best out of that.

Anyone remember Lander?  I'm also reminded of Crystal Caves and Commander Keen, but only because they're part of the same era in my head.
