First console game was Pong, first PC game was Oregon Trail on a school TRS-80. I died of dysentery a hundred times before I learned wth it was, the teachers were closed-mouthed about explaining that one to a bunch of kids.

From there my own Apple ][+ and an Intellivision, and I was a gamer for life.

Oh hell- it could be a bunch. Console it'd be either Duck Hunt, SMB, or Tetris on NES. PC (which is maybe first), it'd probably be either something in Friendlyware, (less likely) Matterhorn Screamer, (less likely) F-19 Stealth Fighter, or (about as likely) Kingdom of Kroz.

The first game was either Mario on the original GameBoy or Alex Kidd in Miracle World built into a friends Sega Master System. I'm not sure which.

I was going to say Super Mario World or Zelda: Link to the Past but they were among the games I got at the same time as I got a SNES; My first console.

One of the old Amiga games, most likely Skidmarks or Lotus III. For PC, Catz 2.

My Dad was (and still is) a big Amiga Nerd; he still has that thing around, with a ton of games for it. Loved that machine.

I'll be damned if I remember. I seem to have rejected all my memories from before I was 6 or 7. I only vaguely remember my early childhood to have some various games on Amiga I can't be arsed to remember, and Civilization.

No clue what the name was, but I'm pretty sure the first game I ever played was one of those LCD handhelds with black-outlined characters over a painted background... it involved dinosaurs.

Edit: After doing a little looking around on wikipedia and following one of its links, I think I may have found a picture of it... or at least the background looks somewhat familiar.

The first game I played was unirally on the Super Nintendo. It is still a favourite of mine to this day, though that may be nostalgia talking.

Mario Bros. for the NES. We didn't have any video games yet, so my first experience was at a friends house.
The second game I ever played was Super Mario 64.

The very first game I remember is super mario 2/other mario game for gameboy advance, but the first game I REALLY played was Zelda: OoT. I must've been 6 or 7...
