<<NOOB>>Taking Corpses from Cages
« on: April 12, 2011, 11:13:20 pm »

So yeah. I have a bunch of dead and naked mole dogs occupying some cages. I had no idea I caught them in the caverns until now.

How do I get their bodies out of the cages for butchering and whatnot?

I guess you could tell the dwarves to dump the corpses. k-view the cage, enter, v to view the corpse inside, d-dump it...

Giant badgers are cruel saddistic balls of fur and hate. Did anyone know they could paint a wall with a single dwarven baby?.... You know what, I made the Giant badgers sound like sane DF players.

For less work, just designate the whole pile for dumping with d-b-d, then un-dump the cages (but not the corpses inside). This works for clothes and stuff too.
