WallaceYou take the job. You give him 80 pieces and he hands you the dog. You could probably carry the dog, though not effortlessly, if it got injured.
"Ok, listen here. The Boach's bark is loud and directional. It won't be much louder than a regular dog's bark to you, but on the receiving end virtuamons or people will often become temporarally deaf. Keep this in mind. Also, the Boach doesn't eat much, but please don't forget."
He hands you some sort of small cube, about the size of a rubics cube.
"This is the prototype. Don't break it. Or don't come back. The quantom mechanic's name is Shawn Willower, people in town should know where he lives. Now, please exit so I can lock up."
You leave the room and head towards the front of the warehouse. The dog follows you obediently. You wonder what you should name it.....you spot Rani and Tai waiting with Tom for either the Professor or you, you're not sure.
RaniYou ask Tai for some provisions, and he hands you what looks like a can of tuna with a word of advice to stock up on food.
You head over to a workbench, which Tom says is just an extra, and enjoy your food.
A few minutes later you see Wallace coming from the back of the warehouse, being trailed by a dog. It's rather small, but is gray with a white stripe from its head to its tail. Further back you see the Professor.
ZeoxYou hand over 60 pieces for 4 human fish rations. You guess it will last you about 4 days.
Extra time left....so...You head over to the warehouse, and reach the entrance.
TaiYou
throw Rani a can of tuna, hitting her in the head and knocking her uncontious hand Rani some food with a word of wisdom. This will probably deplete your supplies a little.
You wait for a few minutes, and then watch as Wallace walks from the back of the warehouse with a small gray dog in trail. A white stripe goes from its head to its tail. You see the Professor trailing farther behind.
Ash"Excellent"
He spends the next five minutes teaching you how to use the rod. Its collapsable, allowing easy storage in your backpack. Apparently fishing here is just like..well, the place you lived before, but easier. You'll need bait to catch fish, though luckally bait is available in most towns and you could probably scavenge some if need be.
You catch a fairly standard fish in the training, and he lets you keep it. However, you're not desperate enough to eat a fish raw. You could probably sell it to the market or pay someone to prepare it.
At the end of the lessons you hand him the 40 pieces and he hands you the rod.
"Her name's Bessy. Treat her well, and you'll never go hungry"
