I'd really like to come to one of these. Not really up for a 2100+ mile road trip though, nor do I have the spare cash to spend $600 on plane tickets.

Unless there's some obsidian and native gold lying around, I don't think I can spare time from my work schedule to adventure my way to the west cost.  Slaying elves along the way, though -- i have to admit -- does sound like fun.

Huh...  I have two people who actually voted for the "bus load."  I assume they are jokes, since I haven't heard anything about them.  If I don't get notice I can't really make sure we have space for you if you are indeed bringing a bus load of people!

If I had a bus I'd be bringing a busload.

As it stands, it is looking like my funding is not going to be sufficient to assist financially with the Colorado Caravan. I'll still go if there is space in there for me, but right now I'm not sure we'll get that off the ground. We'll see though. Still got a month-ish, and I'm not sure where we are at with it currently.

Alright, I checked you guys down on the 'not attending' column.   Once every other person registered on the DF forum posts here we'll have an accurate headcount.

Ah, but you have this wonderful poll to gauge the attendance. Looks like you'll have 29 + 2 busloads. Lets be conservative and say a busload is 40, plus the driver. So you have about 111 people coming.

 


Someone should totally bribe two greyhound drivers to tape "Dwarf Fortress!" signs to their buses and make a stop by where you're gathering just to make Rainseeker freak out over where to put everyone.
