I'd like to be humaned as a siege operator/engineer. Though he can do carpentry until the boat is finished enough for ballistae.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Aye, it will be better if you regen it, easier for everyone at least. Also, remember to bring a some stones to get mechanisms to make a well and a drawbridge for the ship (for the lever i mean)

It'll be interesting building a boat if we don't embark somewhere with lotsa trees, eh?

Glad to see a succession fort is up! Great job Bowie!

Aye! Caverns be for landlubbers. Plus 1.0.4 is out, no more scalawags in the deconstruction shop.

First Matey IT 000 requesting to come aboard Sir Bowie! For both a turn at command and a chance to be hummied! I'll be the 'cutter if it's still available! Nothin' beats choppin' down trees by the sea, the wind in ye hair, the sun on ye back, and the Enlightened traders roaring about as another tree claps the ground!

I'm going to add a link to this in my signature, see if a few more people join the crew.
Apparently there is a 6 line max on the sig. :\ I'll post it on the Modding forum's post.

Yarr...

I would allow people to reserve castes, however I find the different castes are too rare to make this feasible.

Really? Anybody else think this? I may have to look into changing this before the next voyage. In the mean time, shouldn't be to much of a hassle.

Do we have a ship name?

I saw. eek! Better be good!

I'll be genning worlds with the 1.04 and no caverns/HFS. However I intend the starting seven to be pretty much the same to make this quicker and easier.

As for a ship name not as yet, I think we'll make it forum's choice. Post your best ship names now! A simple two word name would be best so we can have it for a fortress name as well.

Dorf/Hume/whatever me as one of the animals! I may go for a turn later, too. Not sure, though.

Hummm...  We could build a drydock for it!  Is toxic stone on?  And what's the embark size on that?  Anyways, it should be cool!

A drydock is the plan, surrounded by awesome port architecture such as lighthouses and docks and jettys...
Embark size is 3x4 maybe 3x5 and I'm starting NOW!!!!
