Deep Blue Escape
« on: April 12, 2011, 01:31:57 am »

It has been 125 years since the Hunger ripped the world apart. Scattered around the continent small settlements still cling to life and to humanity. But every year the number of settlements dwindle while the numbers of the horde grow. From a small settlement in the continental plains, a wagon sets out, with 7 hardy occupants. Their mission - to construct the last hope for humanity in this ever darkening world.

Been playing this mod lately, nice to actually feel threatened by invaders rather then just "The goblins will be here in a year and a half maybe, I should probably get that wall up."

Humie me, Any kind of military profession is preferred, and if that doesn't work, something making weapons or armor, and if THAT doesn't work, just make me whatever. Male. Don't care about caste, if you're allowing people to reserve castes that is. :P

You're Humied Seriyu

I would allow people to reserve castes, however I find the different castes are too rare to make this feasible.

Make me not-sick if possible and change woodcrafter for building designer (it fits me better) :P
P.S.- Also, put me second and send me the pm whenever you finish.

Sure, make Savs a digger, and whoever plays can do whatever else with him they want!  Also, I'd like to play a round!  Maybe 4th or 5th?  Just not 3rd, as it's my first succession!

I'm slowly getting the fort started and choosing items, currently my starting seven look like:
1. NightS - Carpenter/Mechanic
2. Bowie - Rifleman
3. Seriyu - Wood Cutter/Weaponsmith
4.Kerlc - Wood Cutter/Freeman
5. Savs - Miner/Architect/Potter
6. Wood Cutter/Siege Engineer - Open
7. Grower/Brewer - Open

I have chosen an embark position and will be starting soon.
I might also write a bit of a prelude story.

Stay Tuned!

And naturally without HFS?  Also, I'll go after Antymattar!

It would be nice to regen it, since the caverns are useless to us anyways...  Also, so few trees will be fun/interesting (I've only played in forests so far).  Finally, I assume that toxic stone is enabled?
