I've never been able to transfer bees like that. That doesn't mean you can't weaponize them though.

Hm...goblins....we must see if Hives filled with bees can be "activated" by building destroyers.

I only ask because right next to the bees was a number signifying how many, and I'm pretty sure it was in the tens of thousands.

If there's not a natural way to weaponize them somehow, I will change the raws to do so. Maybe not something so incredible as bee-shooting dogs, but maybe just change them to be killer bees and place them in a pit.

Of course, then my dwarves would also be at risk when collecting goblinite and, in general, trying to live on a map that has even one set of bees.

"Urist McNoble, for demanding items of slade and general asshattery, we sentence you to..." *dramatic chord*  "The Pit of BEES!"

I approve.

When filling a hive, my beekeeper was hauling like 14k bees.

Also, a single sting causes slight pain already, showing up on the health screen.

How much pain is thousands of slight pains? Is it enough to make enemies give in?

So, how about you can haul goblins out to pastures? I didn't know that until I just did it accidentally.

Obviously, they won't stay, which puts me in quite a predicament right about now.

Put a bronze colossus in a pit fill of bees and see how long it takes to die.

Won't work, stingers glance away...

This, and I tested. A Bronze Colossus is Black Knight material - in the arena, I created a grandmaster-everything, cyanide-all-equipment axedwarf, then cut off all of its toes, then fingers, then hands and feet, then lower limbs, then upper limbs, and it lived.
I didn't call it a draw, though, as I deeared it, denosed it, and finally decapitated it, what caused it to turn into a masterwork statue of a fish or something.

Last I heard, unmodded bees can't be weaponised. Their stings cause pain, but no actual tissue damage afaik. In theory enough pain could make someone pass out, but that would be it.

Of course it might be possible to mod in bees with deadly poisonous stings! Or bees whose stings cause necrosis!

Then you could have....
