I'd like to point out for RP reasons, having human's as a favored enemy might not be the best for someone trying to prove they don't hate humans <-<.

Granted it is like the best to have for the long run.

Actually, I tried to address that point in my backstory, that he found work as a lawful man-tracker instead of a bandit...I guess it might be seen as metagamey, though. Does favored enemy mean you have to hate them as well? I mean, if you guys wanted to take me to the cleaners, just make my favored enemies bandits and criminals. :P

I can't find anything saying so, and not allowing city guards with ranger levels to be masters at hunting down humans wouldn't make much sense, so...no.

Dwarmin: We're not using anything from Unearthed Arcana, including traits and flaws.  Sorry.

Oh. Those weren't meant to give me bonuses or anything, I just put them in roleplaying wise. I'll get rid of the stats then.

So, what can you guys who have been playing tell me about the campaign? I've read the story. Is it heavy on combat, or more diplomacy/thinking, freeform exploration or more controlled story etc. Do you guys roleplay much in game, or not?

Just fill me in on anything you might need me to know before we start.

About 60% or so of the session is spent in combat, the rest is either awaiting or seeking out combat. The only encounter that was avoided with words was the ones with the goblins...
Roleplay as I can tell isn't too heavy, but I try to do so.
As for the opennes, well, seing as he let us not only sell pl0t items, but attempt to start a caravan, I'd say it's pretty open.

So where were you guys last so we can figure out how our characters meet, because if your in town then you'd obviously meet me in a bar, but if you were heading to that elf guy or in some sort of dungeon, I have nothing against being a prisoner.  Hell you could take all my equipment away and i'd have to earn it back piece by piece from some goblins.  Me walking around fighting hand to hand with only one boot on against a gobbo using my other boot as some sort of hand weapon would be fun as hell.

For that I don't really know, in fact I'm not even too sure if anything has changed since I was last in a session, as I dont know if they had one whilst I was gone.

No, let's wait for thief's character first.

The party had just saved the goblin chief from orcs.  They haven't even looted the bodies yet.  I'm guessing that they're on their way to the elf guy.
