Party made it to Talid, gained Becca and Wellby, and got attacked by a Level 1 Commoner and his archer friends.  This time, the fight was actually interesting.

All hostiles were defeated.  One peasant was killed when running away.

A guard arrived extremely late and arrested the Level 1 Commoner, and the thugs were revealed to be members of the Black Harriers, a dangerous bandit group.

Finally, a note was found on one of the corpses:

"I have hired Louis to deal with the guards. We need whatever it is that they have that is making them impossible to hit. The bows are unimportant now, due to that IDIOT I left in charge of the last group. Just kill the guards and get whatever makes them so hard to hit. -- Kalum

PS: Work WITH Louis. He's the best ninja I could find willing to work for 150 GP."

Sorry, I missed the session; I haven't been on the forums in a while and sort of forgot about it. I'll most likely be able to make it next time.

The commoner was a ninja, had a but-load of HP. The clan only recruits speedy guys, and then trains them in speed. The caravaneer has a name now, Tom I think it was, so his HP doubled.
