Does this campaign have a title yet? also: I added that extra skill point in.

There's a hundred or so kilometers of grasslands and open plains between the swamps and forests of southern Sudan and the deserts boardering Egypt to the north. Also, there's a river supplying most of that moisture. The desert starts around where the Blue Nile and White Nile rivers combine into the main Nile and pick up speed and depth. A huge river that suddenly bends south at the Kalbania/Garthian border would explain that. It would also explain the border being where it is.

The southernmost swamp is still an enigma. Probably some sort of supernatural flood caused by wizards or something. I dunno.

No real title yet.

Didn't mean a skill point.  I meant the 25 points for ability scores.

Evergod41: Use this, or some other point buy calculator.

And that's accepted, which means that the game is full!

Just waiting on some adjustments from Evergod41 (switch to intended point buy system) and Mainiac (minor spending issues).

Are we going to have a session this Sunday, then? And are sessions only on Sundays, or do Saturdays work too?

Saturdays are iffy, due to acting rehearsals often taking up a good chunk of the afternoon.  Occasionally, they can work, though.

Session this Sunday: Probably.  I'll wait for Evergod41 and Mainiac's finished characters, and confirm that everyone's available at...how's 8:00 PM GMT?

Thats 1800 local time, which should be fine. We planning to play about 2 hours a session? If it's more, we may want to start sooner.

Sunday evening sounds good.

Was changing the heavy crossbow to a light one enough to fix my finances?  The only big ticket items I have are the crossbow and the spellbook AFAIK.

By my math, that would leave you with -36 coppers. If you discard the dagger or blanket for now, you'd have just enough. Alternatively, you could start with 19 bolts instead of 20.

Grek: Hmm...Can't really consistently get much earlier than 7:00 PM GMT easily (noon in my time zone), and, knowing my (lack of) experience at DMing, things will probably take a while for the first few sessions.  7:00 PM GMT sound good to people?

Should be fine. As long as sessions dont last more than 3 hours at the absolute most, then I should have plenty of time to have dinner, etc.
