So, to be clear, the area is rather like India? Oceans to the south, east and west with huge mountains to th north, deserts to the northwest and forests to the north? If so, congrats on making a fantasy map that isn't geologically insane!

In keeping with the midget theme, I think I'll draw up a halfling wizard.

Heh. If Evergod decides to play as a Halfling or dwarf, I'm declaring this the campaign of midgets.
Well, no, I was planning on being a human...

Play an extremely short human.

And I wasn't even thinking of India when I said that.  Huh.  So...I accidentally created a saneish fantasy map?

Cant decide between craft or profession...

Made-up my mind, going with craft.

Also, as I have no experience in this part, does a whetstone provide any accual help with blades?

You spent a bit more than the 70 GP given.  Everything else looks fine.

It doesn't help directly, but, if you find a dull blade along the way, you can sharpen said blade.  It isn't going to give serious combat bonuses, but it might increase the value of an old sword a bit.

Do you have a map thought out? I threw together this, but it may be totally off of what you were thinking.

Spoiler: Terrain Map (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Political Map (click to show/hide)
Both of these are really crude, because I wasn't sure what it was supposed to look like. Where do you want what? By which I mean, what should I change?

And on an unrelated note, the Able Learner feat has being a human as a requirement. CURSES!

Quick modifications of maps.  Frankly, my basic thoughts regarding the world were very loose in the first place.

What I consider the basics are done... I got screwed over by the roll I made for weight...

Hmm?  You should be able to just go to Sheets and press the eye button.  Is that not working?
