"Zachery is a magnet for arcane, but it can be repelled." Blankey listened. "The birds are gone, it's safe."

"Somewhere around here, anyway. She knew her home was a shelter and to fear the flock. The new generation, you know? It's sad, really. They eithe only know the endless metal nightmare of The Barrier or the endless desert." The ghost sighed.

Blane looks at the photograph, then puts it away in his pocket.

"Now I see where you got your beauty from child.   We'll do what we can."  He says with his most re-assuring smile.

"Come and have a word with me upstares Hugh?  You too Blankey.", he says, starting to climb the ladder.

[Phantom]

"Huh...
Crap, we won't be able to talk for long, I see the town coming up right now."

And unsurprisingly, it is...

Blankey headed up the ladder, and got out. He sat down on a piece of flooring.

"Drop me off here. I think I know what to do with the last few minutes here on earth." She stepped outside the car, and walked silently towards the town.

6 of them, like a perfect hexagon, over the trap door.

Blane starts to feel frail, and shrinks back a step.

[Fniff]

(What?)

Blane lets Blankey go right past him.

Blankey has never been affected by these guys, the part they try to kill is more or less already dead or shut down in him.

"Blankey..."  Blane gasps.

"The monkey..."

[Phantom]

"Very well, ma'am, but I'm coming with you. Besides, I'm supposed to have died by now, anyway."

Aleksandr gets out of the vehicle and begins another Chant to ward off the monkeys.

[Hubris Incalculable]

Hugh catches Blane as he faints, and lays him down on the ground. He looks up, and sees six monkeys staring intently at him, waiting.

[Fniff]

Blanket smiled.

"It's not there. It's Something Else. You think it's a monkey. You would not believe what I am seeing. Through the eye of madness holds truth."

The ghost had reached the shelter, making herself and Alek invisible. They went down, and found Oprah playing. She looked up.

"Mother...?" Oprah started crying. Oprah was gripped in a hug, tight... But soon, Alek and Oprah were the only ones in the room.

[Hubris Incalculable]

"By the gods, i would rather see ANYTHING else right now."

[Phantom]

The group of people inside the home begin to hear the same, Ancient Gregorian Chanting as Aleksandr draws near.

((Whoops. Assume that was before.))

"So you're her daughter..."

Blane falls down, fortunately without injury into Hugh's arms.  The picture of Oprah Sunny's mother slips out of his jacket face up matching up with the ghost near flawlessly. He falls unconscious to the Blanket's final words. "Through the eye of madness holds truth."

Blood slowly trickles out of his ears as he dreams about rain and drums.

(Blane will be out of action until tomorrow evening, awesome plot guys ^^)
