Tacticus : Young Beards edition!

Hello one and all! Some of you may have seen me looking for rules to the games Tacticus a while back! (about 5 minutes ago :P) And believe it or not.. I Found them. If you know what Callvin ball is, then you pretty much know how to play tacticus, just without the ball.
There are many "editions" of Tacticus, with an already (very shakily) constructed rule-set.
What i'm doing here is creating a brand butt wipingly new game and set of tacticus, the Young Beards Edition! I am making specifically for people who have not played tacticus (such as me) so that they/we can learn just.. how!
Old players are of course welcome, and hoped off, maybe their wisdom can rub off on us. Here I will post an example of a game of tacticus

I know it seems abit confusing, but it is really quite simple once you get the gist of it.

My kobold continues digging 'ardously, as the human and his mule get closer the Kobold quickly hides himself in his partially dug hole, unbeknownst to him though, he is still fairly visible visible. (Kobold moves to block f4, gaining -partially concealed-)

Hearing the explosion, my Kobold leaps from the hidy hole (loses -partialy concealed-) and sprints to his boat. He sails some way out to watch the goings on, just after he grabs a crossbow and some bolts from the floor of the boat.
The lava flows further from the mountain, it's getting dangerously close to the trees!

The Rules O' Mountain Combat say that if lava is introduced near mountains, a volcano is revealed.

We are using young beards addition. It is a new addition with practically no rules as of yet. :-)

As an old hand, I'll pull up the old ruling 756 ("in pursuit of uncluttered insanity"), which allows me to put the board into QRRPT mode. I'll also put 755 ("quit fucking with the formatting, idiot!!") into effect.

All creatures next to the newly created tiles make a roll against noticing that the void just vanished, to be made during their next action, as per normal sudden supernatural manifestation shock effect rules (Standard set, 42nd revision. Unless someone really, really, really wants to play with 43, in which case someone is going to have to keep track of the fundamental forces, cuz I am *not* doing that much physics mathy stuff).
