  • We can't be sure how many troops we have.
  • It could be an ambush.
  • Killing retreating troops will have little to no effect in the long run.
  • The towns defences is our only advantadge, we shouldn't sacrifice it just to bloody their nose a bit more.
  • Intel suggests their leader is young and inexperianced seeking glory- they may try again to save face before the day is done- we'd be sending our troops to meet them head on if so.
  • Defending the town takes priority over making sure routed troops stay routed.

#1. Tend to your wounded.
#2. Capture all wounded Plizzards you can.  Ask the one with the highest rank to identify himself and take him in for interogation.
#3. Pay tribute to the Tongues for coming to your assistance with some gold and celebrations tonight.  Arrange a feast for this time next year to maintain positive diplomatic relations.
