No, I am not picking republican, because I plan on helping get a lot of those bums thrown outta office in 2012 and 2014 also, right along side some their Democrat corruptocrat pals.

I'm curious then.  When you go to your polling place and the ballot doesn't have a T after the D and R, who are you going to vote for?

@ Aqizzar:  I will research and listen and figure out who is best for the job to the best of my own ability to reason it out.  I have NEVER voted via party line and I certainly dont think anyone should.  I personally feel uncomfortable if one party (even tea party) gets too large a control of goverment, because most political party's in the end pander to the vocal extremes and balance is needed to temper that.  I feel that the balance is way out of whack at the moment, zig zagging back and forth since 2004 from extreme to extreme.  I like the idea of the tea party concept of serious financial conservatism.  A do-over so to speak.  We can always start spending again.  Actually, I guarantee, that even if all the tea party wishes come true beyond their wildest dreams, the US will once again find itself at this exact place and problem again in the future.  One of the things I can count in this life is that congress will spend my/our money with gleeful abandon.  I cant stop whatever may happen many administrations from now, but I can at least try to help fix the problem the US is in now.

Sorry, its late and i cant sleep and I cant tell if that whole paragraph ended up gibberish.  Hopefully it made sense.

If it makes you feel any better, yes it did come out as perfectly understandable.  I don't agree with your perspective, but your point is clear, and I can certainly respect it.

Do you vote all party line or do you pick and choose who seems the most qualified of the choices?  Also, in every election there are invariably some races for judges or justices of the peace that I know nothing about.  Sometimes I leave these blank and sometimes I pick half and half each party, hoping that would balance the over system out.  How do you approach these situations?

OK, Gorjo. You are being silly. It's called the Tea Party Movement. Not the Tea Party. I is equivalent to Shia and Sunni. Just a malformed tumor, not a mutant child.

Well, by % of votes, I'd say the rest of the world is outweighing America here right now.
So lets talk Politics. EUROPEAN STYLE.

Looking at US politics, it seems like the US would be a happier political place if the two parties had at least one split each. The current setup is just causing everyone grief and is quite undemocratic.
