Post your first action in your first post if you want to join, I will add your character to the character bank and give him/her/it abilities afterwards.  Just give him/her/it a name.  If you have any suggestions for your abilities include it in a spoiler and it might be considered.

Game start:   You have been travelling for weeks in suspended animation with the objective of finding and acquiring Unobtanium.  From the landing bay you are told that your investiment company's representatives has a rough idea that there might be some near a native settlement to the north by the mountains, but the path there is rugged.   There's a river that flows from NE and a small RTD Avatar community nearby to the West.

We have two big all terrain APVs equipped with manual digging equipment, explosives, and robotic mining devices for your group to go and collect them with.  As a lead/trail breaking vehicle we have an armoured hummer with a .50 cal machine gun mounted to the top and many boxes of ammo.

Clearly the fact that my avatar is Gundam Ez8 means I will win this easily.

Use mah sensors to scan for Unobtainium nearby.

Scanning is for wimps. Mine it out. And by mine, I mean apply Beam Saber directly to hillside.

(...)    The nearest blue thing Trol and Lan find is the riverbank.  Lan tries asking it for information politely, but it just keeps flowing and ignoring him.  Trol tries playing the bad cop and pulls out his plasma rifle and fires two “warning shots” right next to the riverbank to see if it wants to play rough.  Unfortunately it seems as though the river does not want to play rough, and he doesn’t aim very well and hits right under his feet.  The ground isn’t stable and shakes into the river (...)   but he manages not to fall in.

(...)   You jump into the river, hopping from lilypad to lilypad.  You and the river sure do get along.  The water feels like it is full of sediments.

(...)    You squish your brow really hard, trying to locate exactly where unobtanium is.   You think, and you think, and you think.  Pressure starts to build up from you trying so hard.   Your nose starts to haemorrhage, first red, then sorta brownish cerebrospinal fluid.  You keep thinking hard. (...)    You figure this isn’t working and stop thinking so hard before your brain squeezes out of your nostrils.   (You are lightly wounded)

Flip open my index and read up on unobtanium prospecting and mining.
(...)    You find some information about the Yukon Trail and people prospecting up north.  You keep looking.  You find that there was a videogame made about it sometime in the 90s.  You start looking up pictures for it.

They’d mine for gold sometimes using gold sleuths, which was an elaborate system of downward walls to throw dirt and water into if they suspected the riverbank was filled with gold.   Hmm.   You start to get bored and look up stuff about pirates plundering gold in one of your other books.

Try to sniff out unobtanium
(...)    You sniff, and you sniff, and you sniff.   Unlucky for you, you sniff in a bee.  It stings you in the nostril, swelling up and sealing it off instantly.   Your only saving grace is that it swelled so fast that it crushed the bee inside your nasal passages.    Ewww..  You can kind of taste bee guts running down your nose and dripping.

I team up with Frelock and read up on this unobtanium stuff.
(...)    You grab one of his books eager to help out, but maybe you’re a little too eager.  You slit one of your wrists open with his bookmark.  Oh no! (...)    You manage not to bleed all over his pages at least.   Good teamwork. (You are wounded and require medical attention)

Notes:  Since there is a turn cap I’ve decided that if you choose to heal yourself you can still perform a minor action in the same turn.  The more mild your injury the more stuff you can do.  If it is a severe injury dealing with say an amputation that will be your entire turn aside from maybe ducking for cover.
