Forgotten beast dissapearing? Solved (was wandering unexplored area).

Just wondering, I recently had an Forgotten beast appear underground and a Siege a little bit later, I decided to cope with the goblins first and then go for the beast.
After carefully saving first I reloaded and went down with my militia to suddenly not be able to find the beast nowhere.
I had although killed it once before reverting back to the older save when I searched for it again, but to no event?

Anyone else had problems like this or is it possible its hiding completely? Does not appear in unit list either.

Is there any part of the caverns that's still hidden?  The FB may be wandering around in there.  If so I'm pretty sure it won't show up on your units list either.
