Also, Joker, here's a question:
Jokerman: your impression of everybody else?

I'm getting a strong town read from Pandar. I don't like Tyberix's WIFOM there; yes, it was something of a relevant question, but I would have avoided it completely because it's just an open invitation for scum to start spreading WIFOM everywhere.

Can't say much about Jack since he's been in and out, but once he's back I'll expect to see some action. Lordnincompoop and Akhier haven't said much but that's probably more lurky-noobiness than anything.

My excuse:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Okay, Akhier hasn't posted at all. Mod, mind giving him a poke?

And is there any reason you're spreading mindless WIFOM around?

Yeah,it's good starting point for hasty counter-attack/defense that can bring some info about him. Also i admit i gone bit overboard with this one, it's too absurd to have any weight.

I'm not quite sure I follow.

Unless you're scum, you have no reason to throw WIFOM around - especially deliberately. If you want to elicit a reaction, pose a piercing and aggressive question or make a case or something similar.

BAND TRIP DAY 3 OR WHATEVER

Indeed, got my last exam tommorow afternoon, so i should start reading and posting after that. Talk to you all then.

Ah, good.  Here goes my standard question for new arrivals: Scumpicks?

Can't say much about Jack since he's been in and out, but once he's back I'll expect to see some action.
The band trip isn't going to be too much longer, don't worry, and I'm going to try to be at least somewhat useful even during it.  I'm a bit tired of the entire schedule being incorrect, though.

Jokerman Somehow people who vote you die. Ordinarily it wouldn't even take something that obvious as meaningful information but Tolyk yesterday play made me believe that everything is possible. Your thoughts why he done that yesterday ?

And is there any reason you're spreading mindless WIFOM around?
Yeah,it's good starting point for hasty counter-attack/defense that can bring some info about him. Also i admit i gone bit overboard with this one, it's too absurd to have any weight.
Tyberix:...I was not aware that deliberate WIFOM, nonsensical or not, was a good scumhunt-starting strategy.  And how does TolyK's behaviour, however insane it was, make utterly insane powers possible?  Finally, what kind of information did you think you could get out of Jokerman through that WIFOM?

Rread from 15 right now, to get an idea of what happened recently. Tolyk Claim should be entered as an example on how to completely flub it.

Scumpicks right now, choices :

You Jack AT, Akhier, Lor Nincompoop and bd havent been participating ( from what i understand you all (bar Akhier) good reasons, so i'll let slide. Akhier I,ll survey more, but i havent done a thorough reading job yet.

Pandar is his usual flaming missile of hate self, while normally he is more shifty when mafia. Slighty townish for him.

Snihjen claim is a curious one, and id tend to doubt it. Could imbalence the game, and mostly on anti town sides. I could see such a claim as a way to divert cops from him, so i would assume he would have a un-town role. Mostly conjecture, so slight scum.

Tyberix, Otto and Darvi are about neutral, but again i did not read thorougly. I'll let you digest this, and do a quick thresad read. See yah later.

Tyberix: You'll forgive me if I don't share your opinion on WIFOM as a scumhunting tactic. What were you hoping to find out from it? What kind of reactions were you looking out for?

Hello everyone, sorry for being away. I sorta forgot
about this little shindig because of collage finals. I may
be a little slow till my last final on Monday but I will be
here. Going to go back and read all that has happened
now. Also later today I will be away getting my haircut
so don't expect much today till later afternoon and on
Sunday I play in a 3.5 D&D campaign from 1ish to 6ish
so from around 12 to 7 I may not be posting either. On
Monday I will be taking my last final around 9:30 and I
don't know how long it will last, the teacher said any
amount from just 1 hour to 5. After all that I will be free
to post as necessary barring being asleep. The sleep I
can't predict because without a schedule I don't have
a sleep cycle, I have a sleep pogo-stick.

I agree, that was pretty stupid on my part, at first i wanted just pressure-vote jokerman to get something more from him. I instead come up  with first attack that come to my mind since i voting like that always makes me leave the vote in place just because i'm never sure enough to change it. I think i value voting too much and change mine too rarely. :/ As for Tolyk behavior : if he was pulling something strange like his claim, what were the rest of the scum-team doing ? And i just don't presume scum will not try playing ridiculous gambits(if i can name it like this) anymore. Insane powers are part of the theme so i think it's safe to assume that we are yet to see most confusing one.

First thing i wanted to achieve is to stir discussion a bit, and looks that at least this is working. I was hoping jokerman will show his attitude towards Tolyk play/lynch cause he did not comment on it yesterday.

Extend.

I am disappointed, everyone.  Out of 12 people alive, 3 are voting.  Not much posting has happened.  If things continue like they are, Tyberix will be lynched because two people out of 12 agreed on it.  This is not how the game should go.

I will be home tomorrow night, at last.

Tyberix: I'm guessing the scum was just as amazed as we were, when it comes to TolyK's behaviour: no matter what, that was suicidal behaviour.  More seriously, you claimed that, due to TolyK's insane behaviour, you wouldn't be surprised by the existence of insane powers.  How are the two connected?

Well,at first i thought that it's possible that scum get some kind of power/advantage from his death. Then his defense would make more sense, playing risky but with guaranteed gain.  But now i'm rather convinced it was just a bad claim that got out of control.

Extend. I want at least hear everybody speak up once...

This just seems suspicious to me, the way he's retracted his potion so quickly after being called out. He's overly concerned about appearing town, which is clearly visible in his lack of backbone, for lack of a better word.

Tyberix, being called out and voted upon is good for you? What?
