SON OF A BITCH

SniHjen, while you were being mad scummy earlier I used an ability that randomizes who you target. I'm warning you now because who you hit has no relation to whom you choose.

Someone can confirm, if they're town anyway, that they have a Night ability called (Night) Shaken [target], which shakes up the target, causing them to target a random player.

Also, who has the (Auto) Puppeteer [target] ability that makes "Marionette" players target that person?

Thats scummy as hell panda.

Here I am, going so far as to roleclaim, and has not told a lie, and you don't even tell me stuff like that.

wait... you can use other peoples abillities.

@Webadict
If player1 have a kill ability and tells you at 3 o'clock to kill player3
and player2 have a ability to randomize targets and use it on player1 at 4 o'clock (that's later)

Will player1 kill a target, randomly chosen, or will he kill player3?

that is: does WHEN you send in your move affect what happens?

I can pretty much assure you it doesn't. I can't say for absolutely certain, but I'm aware of no examples in mafia where it works that way. If mafia declare their NK immediately, it's still blocked by protections and roleblocks.

the secret word in NK is 'night'

It's a restricted ability.
Mine isn't.
and it sounds like, neither was panda's, but that's guessing.

Darvi:Your take on Jokerman ?
While focusing on me and Tolyk seems fine to me (we do have a tie, after all), the way he phrased that post sounds kinda like he's putting us into an arena and telling us to fight to the death. It's as if he asked "Hey guys I want to bandwagon, mind if you give me an excuse to do so?"

Darvi: Because I had said those before and declared I would vote him for it if I was sure it wouldn't hammer him, asked for a votecount, and upon receiving a votecount I promptly voted him?
To quote Jack:

You should state your reasons, or at least provide a link to where you did so.

@SniHjen: Wut? so you're an X-ally? Anyway, Pandar has no reason to tell you about the randomization, so how the fuck is that scummy?

Wuba: If somebody has a night ability (including scum NK's), does that mean they take effect right after the lynching or do they happen during the "day"

I would assume that all night abilities are concurrent at end of night like they normally would be, but Web could be running this as a Deep South variant.

Pandar:  You could ask Web if it's too late to change your target.

Also, the ability you mentioned- does the owner of that ability choose the target in the auto ability?

Again, we're doing this the hard way.

Web:  In the event of a night where we can talk and vote, do night actions take place as soon as they're sent in or at the end of the night concurrently?

Whoa, information overflow.

I guess the actions happen at end of the phase,  i used one that should bring immediate information at the beginning of this Day/Night, so i guess it works like standard night queue. Also we would probably see NK already if actions happen at once - but that's just a guess.

HA! That's actually pretty awesome.

Don't have a whole lot to say about targets, though.
What's so good about that ?

Darvi: Why you think that vote tie justifies Jokerman tunnel vision ?

if you join a mason/scum/3rd party group, do you get to see the chat? It would be possible to join potential scum, join town, and tell everything to town... hm... or does it not work like that?
also, is this provable in any way? I'm moved to believe you so far, but I'm not 100% sure...

Turns out that I was wrong about being to busy for mafia...
But I still want to be replaced out of any games I am in, since I really am to busy for that...
Ha! portal 2 was such a great game!

All actions taken at Night happen concurrently at the end of the Night.

Day actions, however, happen as soon as you use them.

Sorry for not responding sooner. This week is kinda hectic.

It's a one shot, and if I defect, I lose all my powers and become a survivor.

See, now that sounds like bullshit.  If you defect, you're breaking a game rule and likely get modkilled- see BYOR 5.5.  Why would you defect, anyway?
