((Got it; taking my turn now))

Bim sighed, and walked away from the massive catacombs.  More dead than alive in Scrubbedcreams; if the elves didn't get them, the land itself would.  However, where were they to go?  There was no truly safe place anywhere else in the world.  At least here the elves struggled even to survive the harsh journey to besiege them, and had to contend with the brutal, undead locals the dwarves had managed to lock out, away from their homes.

Homes, if they could be called that.

Bim had seen his friend Libash take up the mantle of leadership, only to be slain by a berserk dwarf some few days later.  Thob resumed leadership before being overwhelmed by grief, and dying a tragic death.  Now it fell to Bim to lead, but Thob had left him one hell of a good clean up before he went.

The fortress was limping along, slowly but surely.  He had some ideas in mind for reform, and would commission the miners to them post-haste.  There was much work to be done, and as he trudged down the stairs towards the engraved, yet still meager, dining area he knew his work was cut out for him.

I'm not very good at DF, and would no-doubt be a terrible liability as overseer, but can I please have a dwarf?
Some nobody migrant, preferably male, named "Yogam".
I imagine he'll get his arms bitten off eventually, by something or other. :P

Huh, did anyone dorf themselves? =) I didn't.

It makes sense as the fortress is being ruled by some supernatural entity, chaotic and twisted... Oh shit. We're at Lovecraft world, i just realized. Mountains of Madness, you know.

If we get some master engravers - please, please, let them enrgave all walls and floors. It's gonna be epic historical gallery.

I just saw a guy with two broken legs push a minecart with a corpse in it. Yeah.

I usually engrave the bedrooms, and the dining room. Though we could engrave the store rooms as well. I'm actually looking forward to taking my second turn. This is !FUN!

Added to the list. If the fort survives you can dwarf yourself.

The spirits of the three dwarves I named, chaired, and buried, are staring down at you from on high. Hopefully your decisions have pleased them. Or, I smite you.

Sorry, got scheduled for some emergency doubles at work the past three days; worked almost 50 hours so far.  I got to spring, no difficulties, and had most of a nice new living space carved out (new, slightly larger bedrooms and such to improve long term happiness, cranking out cabinets and such), then in mid summer a forgotten beast SOMEHOW got in and wiped me out as I was pushing out the rest of my turn tonight.  I can post the partial save if you want, or you can just skip me entirely.  I don't want to hold anyone back, and I'm sincerely sorry about the delays.

Post your spring save, I'll take it next then. I hope I can make some progress this weekend.
