Serve your country!  Besides, in Europe, everyone serves for two years.  It's not the same as in the United States, where drafts mean war.  In fact, European countries are more likely not to get involved in wars because everyone serves, and nobody gets extended past the two years.

Alright if you guys say so...

We now only make 1,520 hryvnia a day, but we can still afford the same expenses as before luckily.

Some new options are now available to us, we can "Change city of residence" "Change dwelling" and "Emigrate"
We can also invest in stuff now, I'm not sure how that works, but we only have 137 hryvnia right now anyway so it doesn't matter.

19 years old

(We now have 818 hryvnia)

I wonder. Will there be a war? Will we get a bullet in the face?
Will we make it home to dinner?

Knowing our luck, Russia will declare in-game war on Ukraine next year.

Depends on the country, some countries have put drafting on hold, which means they won't outright draft you, but they can if they need to, which is a similar situation to the US.

Reminds me of Valkyria Chronicles where the country the game takes place in actually not only had manditory military service but manditory military training for everyone.

Something just felt REALLY wrong about setting things up so your ENTIRE country is ready for service.

Isreal is proof that it is incredibly effective, though.
