Fox Cans Glenn Beck
« on: April 06, 2011, 04:10:22 pm »

Floating across the wires: from the Denver Post, your newspaper of record for internal business decisions at NewsCorp, Glenn Beck is officially leaving Fox News some time within the year.  It's popping up on all the other real newspapers around the country, so I'd take it at its word.

I guess you can only get so wacky before nobody wants your ad-slot, and Goldline don't pay the bills.

Shine on you crazy diamond.  You will be missed, wherever you're going.

I know where he's going.

Two words.

Radio.  ...  Second word.

So three words actually.

You just know he's going to run for President. Maybe he'll register under the Raving Loony Party.

I maintain that Beck is obfuscating the vast majority of his crazy. The man himself admits to being an entertainer before anything else. I think he does a much more stealthy version of Colbert's act.

His true thoughts aside, that's CNN and Fox down now. Perhaps MSNBC next?

If Olbermann was still there, I might take that bet. They might put them in a steel cage match to the death.

I could see bochner (sp?) making him her VP.

Other than that, I want some tickets to that match.

That would be so epic, he joins MSNBC, and instead of crazy right wing conspiracy theories, he instead begins to talk about crazy left wing conspiracy theories.

Personally i agree, Glenn Beck is perhaps the most epic troll of all time.
Dunno though, for some reason i think that he's smart, even though every single word out of his mouth is batshit insane, mabey he is simply a idiot.

The resulting fight would destroy the cage, MSNBC's headquarters, NYC, the rest of New York, and at least 65% of the East Coast. I suppose New Jersey would probably be destroyed in the midst of their PoliticRage, so there's one plus.

This would be even more entertaining, because I'd pay extra to see a zombie Beck.

Glen Beck seems well intentioned, but it feels like he doesn't know what he's talking about a lot of the time, even if it's right. If he's faking it, he's doing a good job.

My guess is that it's probably Obama's thugs that are behind this.

Doubt it, I don't think the US government would be able to do such a thing.
