Which begs to question at what lengths our hero travelled to throw feces out the window a few panels back.

Did he like..  hang from the toilet rim by his knees to acquire some (not knowing how deep to go by any sense other than smell and touch) .. or..  throw his own feces? ..   Or...  did somebody not shit in the hole, and he just picked up that feces to throw?

The only logical way one would get feces from an outhouse would mean that said feces would not be in a hole in the ground.
