Carpenter refuses to do carpentry.

I made a somewhat skilled carpenter on my expedition; however, I have found him doing anything but Carpentry!

He hauls stuff, heck I gave his job to my stone crafter and he's doing it! What could I be doing wrong? I've checked his preference trice over!

Get Dwarf Therapist, assign him to only do Carpentry.

Have you CANCELED everything BUT carpentry from his job preferences?

From Mr. Welch's 1350 things he is not allowed to do in a RPG:

So I turned off everything and It seemed to make him snap too. The lazy sod. :P
