Tomorrow, GMT +1. o_O You mean, midnight at GMT +1? Or...? Anyway. Just realised it's 10 to 1 here. Lol. Oh well.

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...

Tomorrow, GMT +1. o_O You mean, midnight at GMT +1? Or...? Anyway. Just realised it's 10 to 1 here. Lol. Oh well.

I stay up late and wake up late, the high-life. I do my updates in the afternoon usually, after lunch.

I'd like to be able to make a post every day, but the nature of collaborative gaming is flakiness. I don't like the idea of steamrolling over people's dorfs and taking control of them to keep things running but I think it may be the best option. If people want a lot of control over the game they'll check the thread, unless they're so busy they can't in which case I'll try not to kill them.

EDIT: oh I realized what you meant. No, not at midnight. I meant that it's my time zone for everyone to compare. I live in the GMT+1 in Yew-rope so any Americans'll probably notice me posting updates at weird hours.

Love this site. Mind running prospector and telling us the metals we have to work with?

             Just because you're paranoid
doesn't mean they're not after you.

There is no reason to be paranoid
if they really are after you.

No, not if anyone else minds. I've never run it before though.

Okay, I'm going to start up. JoshuaXI, Mipe9, everyone who hasn't given explicit orders will be steered towards helping build the palisade and aquifer breach. Since the fort is just getting on its feet I hope nobody minds having their dorf requestioned for tasks.

Just got migrants! The pattern via which I induct new players will be a bit odd: I need to match skill, personality and gender. So some might not get dorfed ASAP.

This wave'll have a dorfed member for each one, though. I'll try to get you all in as fast as possible.

I vote no on prospector. As it's a cheating program. :P Find out whats in the dirt when you dig it up, like a proper dwarf.

All but two of the seven migrants are women, and I've had a lot of requests for male dorfs. Some may have to wait until the next migrant wave unless they're willing to settle in terms of gender.

I personally prefer to do exploratory digs for metals: it gets you stone for building and it's dorfy to have mine tunnels.
