For Autumn, Doc Valrandir will continue focusing on making stone block out of every rough block.
He will also mandate that any constructions made of rock, be made using rock blocks only.

Doc Valrandir will kindly ask the miners to fix the his uneven office room. the top wall is missing a 3x1 dig to be symmetric with everything else, and this gives him headaches.

The good doctor did not forget about Dorna the Mechanic.
Here are the blueprints for his control room. The new section is in red.
A bed should be placed in his bedroom, and a table and chair in his office and dining room.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Finally, Valrandir the manager will add four new orders:
- Make wooden bin x30
- Make wooden bin x30
- Make wooden bin x30
- Make wooden bin x30

There are his orders for Autumn.

Dorna looks up at the doctor.  "HIS?!  I know the beard is confusing but confound it you'd THINK another dwarf would be able to know the difference between a man and a woman!"

Although I appreciate the rooms, they should be nice.

Female dwarves don't have beards, actually.

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...
Link for full quote. 'tis mighty funny.

I forgot to mention that: those three squares are damp stone. If they dig it out, you'll have a swimming pool instead. :(

Until spears are made, Jacen will help with the odd job. If spears are made, he will train.
Same as before.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Is the palisade done? If so, recruit a few masons to start building my tower of fun by the entrance. Two floors for now.
Code: [Select]
    WWdWW
   WW   WW
  WW     WW
 WW       WW
WW         WW
W           W
W^          W
WW          W
WW    t    WW
 WW   c   WW
  WW     WW
   WW b WW
    WWWWW

W=Wall
d= Door
^ = Up ramp
b = Bed
t= Table
c+= Chair

You can probably guess what the second floor looks like. And please ignore Doc Valrandir's order about stone blocks. Only goblins live in smooth towers.

Have the palisade entrance cage trapped as well - I require participants.

I'll get around to making some pumP parts, but what about the mechanisms?
After that, make a couple training spears and then BUCKETS NONSTOP! Soap is a worthy venture in my opinion.

Ramps or stairs?

I can't wait for us to have statues and engravings. They make nice narrative pieces.

You Don't need mechanisms for a pump, you only need a block, a screw, and a pipe, unless your plainning on something nore complex then just a screw pump. It won't be needed.

I'm assuming we're going to need more than one to invoke the Moses effect and be able to dig through the aquifer. Unless we're not doing that.

I'll continue helping with the pallisade if you don't have enough dwarfpower to finish it in a fairly fast time. Otherwise, have me make some cheese. Not for eating it, but for trading it.
