Market's actually at the lowest I've seen it in a long time - I think 5,300 crowns per 100 CE, down from the 7,000 I saw it earlier in the week.

They really should've added a levelling system of SOME sort (not just weapons). It would've prevented the current "feeling like I'm walking on a treadmill and going nowhere" issues.

I think the point IS to play on mist energy only. You can get a good amount of playing in per day that way if you're careful. Buying more energy should really only be for crafting, IMHO.

Yeah, assuming that the energy cost per elevator ride doesn't go up as you hit higher tiers you have enough for 10 levels or 8 levels and some spare for use within the levels/reviving. That is between 1-2 hours of play without having to purchase any additional energy.

The thing is... the auction house made it ridiculously easy to make money (at least last time I checked). Go down to the first merchent level, grab some halfway decent 2 star recipes for 1k each, sell them all for 1.7k each within about 45 minutes. Having trouble making your first 1k? Sell a bunch of materials for MORE than they were going for before the auction house went up. Really I feel like costs of things balanced my ability to make money/buy energy last time I played (to be fair, I'm in 2-3 star gear at this point, so not really "new character" stage, but not endgame either).

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Played since release date. Except I didn't like this one nearly as much as the other Three Rings games (Well, perhaps more than Whirled.) It is fun at first, but as you get to higher levels it becomes a tradeoff of spending a day of not playing at a time to craft a weapon. And as the prices got higher playing for more than an hour without paying became pretty difficult.

Speaking of which, did the Crys Energy prices ever stabilize? What are they at? (Computers changed, and Spiral Knights lags way to bad now. Wonder if it would work faster if I got the Stand-alone released on Steam yesterday-ish?)

Just started this, so far so good I like...
But the Voice Chat seems a bit broken, it seems to be constantly on so that I hear people who play with speakers playing, hearing double due to the second lag between them and me. GAH so annoying.

started the day before yesterday and got the 7.5k energy starter pack.
traded almost all energy for money at 5.5k/100
now i can buy about 8k energy again ... and that is AFTER i bought the crafting recipes for the gunslinger stuff... and the lv3 resources ... a useful investment i say.

The energy prices have dropped down to around 4100 now. seems that all the people from steam have been buying energy packs.

I think they bought it, not got it.
The only starting bonus I saw was "a free mist tank that doubles your starting mist energy!" which was identical to what I got when I started playing so long ago ???

Give me a shout in game "Richard-metalax" if you are just after the hat you only need to reach the clockwork junction on the third level.
