I recall seeing bees in the Donkey Kong Country series.

Magic Turn. It's an old 3D adventure game, where you play as a bee.

ooooh, just reminded me of the awesome "Exile", on C64, BBC, Amiga and possibly the Acorn Archimedes.

loved that game.

e #2: Holy ffffffff... I didn't know of a Amiga CD32 version. Need emulator. Now.

I think there was mead making in the Settlers series. At least in 4 the vikings could make it, but it may've been in 3 as well.

ADOM and Crawl both have bees.  ADOM has hives you can kick to piss them off.  Crawl has a giant hive that's a whole separate dungeon area.

HMR stands for Hazardous Materials Requisition, not Horrible Massive Ruination, though I can understand how one could get confused.
God help us if we have to agree on pizza toppings at some point. There will be no survivors.

Runescape, beehives, and a bee-minigame which probably isn't up anymore.

A nice list so far. What about pen & paper or tabletop games?

I'm pretty sure every tabletop game ever has some form of bee-like insect. D&D has giant insects. Shadowrun has insect spirits. GURPS... Well, GURPS has everything. Heck, even CthulhuTech has the fungal, insectile Migou from Pluto.

I am so damn glad someone mentioned the bee from conker. True lad, right there.

What? He's firing from the hip.

Voting is open until April 22nd. If any new games are suggested (post or PM), I will try to add them to the poll. I set the poll to allow votes to be changed (but I don't know if that feature works). May the best bees win!

Bees are crucial in Haven and Hearth.
(Bees wax, honey, pollination of crops)

First place went to Dwarf Fortress, followed by Little Nemo: The Dream Master and Bioshock.

Thanks for the bees!

Clonk Rage has bee-like creatures called Zaps which are let out if their nest is thrown/dropped.
