For the time being, let's focus on getting rid of the goblins. Go to the raws, add [AQUATIC] to them and watch them air-drown. Now see if you can rescue him.

Hrm... Well, I don't really wanna make all the goblins aquatic, thus destroying this ridiculously awesome, world-crushing siege, seems a bit cheap to me.
But is it possible to mod in a new race, like a super-fied version of dwarves, and use some utility like DFusion to swap his race IG? Still haven't got RS to work, either. I did what people said, but now I get 'error 4 Error parsing element, at row 5 col 75'. :/

There's a way to give you dwarves super speed by editing the raws I think. Maybe that will give your military enough time to reach him.

Aha, but it's not over yet! I just need to make a secondary dwarf race, get the latest version of DFusion, and turn the miller into some sort of super-dwarf long enough for my hopeless military to... Kill all the goblins and rescue him? Uh, somehow I'm not sure this is gonna work. :/

Not really; just make him undead-like, with a few twists. No need to breathe, no blood and high regeneration might be good starts.

Yeah, and I'll give him a steel skull. The gobboes can just stab away at him 'til they get bored and leave, and then my dwarves can scoop up the pieces and place him on some massive golden throne, and he can rule over them as zombie-overlord. I should add that in while I'm messing with the raws!

Why not just make him super-invincible, and his rescuers super-powerful, save his ass, get him to the hospital, set your guys to fix him up (see above re: we have the Raw files), then save the game and undo the changes to his rescuers?

Look at it as Armok granting a boon to one of his flock in need.

I'm pretty sure any changes you make to this dwarf will affect all the dwarves in your fort, so in theory, changing them all into bronze with [SPEED:0] should make it easy enough to break the entire siege - if, that is, you want to go that far.

Nah, I was thinking I'd make a seperate dwarf race, and use DFusion to switch the one guy to that race.
Then wait for the others to defeat the siege using just their ingenious tactics, i.e: Hiding under a rock.

Second race, mechadwarf, and leave him as one. Considering he bottlenecked the entire siege, he deserves it.
Also, crossbowdwarves. Use bone or wood for crossbows, same for bolts. Even with totally unskilled dwarves you'll get results surprisingly fast.
