Siberys the Swift was an Altaria that I caught as a Swablu in the Siberys west of Fallarbor town. He was initially very weak, and was almost a nuisance at first, but after evolution Eberron revealed his awesome ability to the world. Sing was his signature move, and often enemies would fall asleep within a matter of rounds of their initial engagement with Siberys . While his foe slept, Siberys used Dragon Dance to boost attack and speed through the roof. Once he became an unstoppable juggernaut, Fly was used to destroy any resistance put up by his enemies. Siberys almost singlehandedly defeated Drake the Dragon Master, although he was only level 52. (Drake's five dragon Pokemon are all around level 54.) Without Siberys, Khyber and Boudica the Gardevoir would have been left alone to face Steven and Drake, and I am doubtful either would have survived.
Khyber the Fierce was a Salamence of mighty power that was very helpful back in the Hoenn Elite Four. He was caught in Meteor Falls by sheer happenstance. Somehow I didn't run into a single other Pokemon, even a Golbat, until I reached the Bagon containing room, and caught the Bagon on my first Pokeball throw, even though the chance of encountering a Bagon in that room is only 5% per encounter. Anyhow, he rapidly grew from a landbound Bagon into a glorious winged Salamence that used its terrible strength and blazing fire to great effect in Victory Road. Without Khyber, it is unlikely any of my Pokemon would have made it to the Elite Four, much less a full team.
