Salamander would fit, no? Also, the post I made earlier was a quote from Taladega Nights, the Ballad of Ricky Bobby. He was the greatest racer to ever live. But yeah, Salamander is the traditional fire spirit.

According to a series of coin-flips, the name of our Chimchar will be Ifrit. Update pending tomorrow. DeSMuME is being rather uncooperative after months of disuse.
