When we last left our hero, he had just stormed out of a building that he had previously crash-landed into.KHARN: I will find thee and slay thee, Bismark! But first, you shall tell me where the Professor resides!
KHARN heads west and kicks in the door of the first house he sees. Inside, the only people are an elderly woman and a young girl. Regardless, KHARN questions them.KHARN: Where is the Professor, hag?!
KHARN: You are a helpful one. You may live to see the next dawn.
KHARN moves on to the girl to see if he can get more detail. KHARN notices a small speaker box located at the base of the girl's neck. To confirm his suspicions, KHARN barrels into the girl with all his might. She hits the floor with a clang and stands right back up. He was right. Automaton. Probably a messenger-bot, considering the speaker.KHARN: Were you placed here by the Professor? What is your message, soulless machine?
KHARN: He wants what!? This is intriguing.
Confused, KHARN decides to move northeast, to the next building. First, however, he pauses to speak with the citizen outside.KHARN: I myself have witnessed it countless times. It can be a horrific or glorious experience, depending on the skill of the person. The bloodshed can be quite cathartic, but I doubt one such as you would know of that, civilized as you must be.
Unknown Woman: ...
KHARN: ...
KHARN: You are my kind of woman.
Though glad to find another warrior in this rural village, KHARN takes his leave and enters the house with extreme prejudice.
Inside he finds a man staring blankly at a wall. KHARN interposes himself between the man and his wall. The man immediately asks him to leave, as if his staring were the most important thing in the world.KHARN: How do you know of Bismark? Are you another of the vile doctor's lackeys? For your information, Bismark is a coward and thus no friend of mine. Do you know where he lives? I hunger to spill his blood.
Unknown Man: Err... he lives directly to the west. Take this map, it shows the path. I don't recommend killing him, though.
KHARN RECEIVED A MAP OF SINNOH. OH GOODY!Ignoring the man's pigeonhearted warning, KHARN follows the man's intricate map to Bismark's abode.KHARN: I have him now.
KHARN moves over to the door to kick it down, but in doing so merely kicks the exiting Bismark in the chest.KHARN: Prepare to die by my hand, worm!
KHARN draws his sword and raises it to deliver a fatal blow.Confused, KHARN pauses and considers this opportunity. Bismark will live... for now.KHARN: Betraying your master at last, are you? Fine. Lead me to him!
Bismark flees back indoorsKHARN: I don't need you as a guide, but you can tell me what you know. I will see you at his lab.
Pulling out his map, KHARN charts a northerly course to Sandgem town, the next town over.
