Feathers: craftable or junk?

So I'm sorting through the body parts from the organic side of goblinite, which includes the mounts the invaders came riding on. I've got some feathers now. Can these be used in any crafting job or are they junk like cartiledge?

Or you could mod them and cartilage to be useful. Smexy ☼giant eagle feather pasties☼ ftw. Bonus if you mod them to be as good as a steel breastplate, just for sheer lulz.

Understood. I had more interesting things to mod than feathers and I don't care enough about feathers to add one tag in the raws.
