Mod in various syndromes to do with vermin. Test them on it.

Station your military nearby and let the child-nabbing bastard have a taste of your dwarven fist of justice.

Dig a pit, toss 'em in and let your marksdwarves go to town on his ass. Also a great way to get your marksdwarves skills up.

Mod in a syndrome that heals him endlessly but leaves him immobile. Use him to train your military. Bonus if you make his blood/skin/whatever else you shear off usable as food/drink.

Build the cage in an area, get all your babies and children near(but not neccessarily next to) it, then Pull the Lever, releasing the snatcher.

Did I mention the lever is also linked to a drawbridge positioned between the snatchers and the children? Bonus points for smashing some of the children.

I don't think syndromes can actually heal like that...

Hm. I wonder, could you actually mod in a syndrome that heals him/multiplies his healing rate so he regenerates every damn thing?

Make it so it ubercharges their recuperation. That'll help.

Iirc, blinking means a dorf is injured. I assume the snatcher was mildly injured and he has now healed. And there's no way to escape a cage unless a dorf fucks up and does something Fun.

Edit: Also, I asked around in the modding forum. The syndrome idea isn't possible in the current version, you'll just have to mod his regen rate to be uberpowerful, EXCEPT for his nerves. Ruin the nerves and he can't move.

I'd strip him and beat at him with my recruits. I always do that. The long kill lists they have makes my soldiers look awesome.

Somewhat related to the topic at hand. If I want to make a firing range with various critters as the targets, would it work to trench out a  5x5 square of 1 channel width, the make a small retractable bridge to allow dwarves to install cages?
