Refuse pile doesn't work.
« on: April 03, 2011, 04:49:09 am »

So, I'm making my fortress straight underground, and I finally decided to have walls outside. The problem is, there are a lot of rat corpses on the floor outside, so I want to get rid of them, and I set up a refuse pile. But no dwarf is touching those rat remains! I even tried to make a tile garbage zone and designed the corpses for dumping, but the dwarves are still doing nothing! What should I do?!

Press 'o' to bring up the orders menu, then under refuse, toggle 'ignore refuse outside' and 'ignore vermin corpses'.

Dying (ceasing to be alive) is also not a Moodable skill. Even totally unskilled Dwarves seem to do it correctly.
