Chain whip?

I'm thinking something like this, menacing with spikes.

I'm curious what the barely conscious ai wrote about.
Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.

I think that would make the most sense.

Ustxu Iceraped the Frigid Crystal of Slaughter was a glacier titan. It was the only one of its kind. A gigantic feathered carp composed of crystal glass. It has five mouths full of treacherous teeth, enormous clear wings, and ferocious blue eyes. Beware its icy breath! Ustxu was associated with oceans, glaciers, boats, and murder.

I remember that being tested on Deadliest Warriors. It got 0 kills, iirc. Yeah, it sucks balls.

I just pictured a whip with a sharp metal tip. It would also explain why they can get 'embedded' in the target.

Because it wasn't wielded by a goblin.  8)

It wouldn't kill them easily, but it would hurt the hell out of them, making them easier to kill. Besides, Deadliest Warrior isn't the most accurate show out there.

More accurate than most shows.

Besides. If whip-weapons were such a good tool, they would have been largely used in real life armies(Or at least by some random crazy single dude in an attempt to ocnquer his local region with them.). They weren't. Ergo; they are not effective weapons. Certainly not like they are in Dwarf Fortress

Christ, are you dwarves or are you elves? If you think Hell has too many demons, then youkill them till the population reaches an acceptable number.
Dwarf Fortress: So horrifying the players would rather talk about nice things, like Warhammer 40k.

The way they hit like a tractor trailer carrying 3 loads of lead-decorated lead I'd imagine they're actually flails.

Well, it looks like those weapons are really good against unarmored opponent, not so much against armor. That may explain why they were not widely used by armies, that and the fact that they need much training not to hurt yourself.

i kinda imagine that they're more swinging around scorpions GET OVER HERE! thing...so just a whip with a metal barb at the end >.>

and really, the only thing a whip should be effective against, are undead and vampires...
